Note, no one else was in the tent eating :) Our Mom used to do this kind of funny stuff with us, so Paula comes by it naturally <grin>.
Today, Sophia, Olivia & I got the garden done. We put together 5 wheelbarrow's full of dirt/peat/vermiculite to fill my 10 Grow Boxes. We then started planting the plants I bought yesterday. Mom & Paula showed up to help with this part of the project :) We have tomatoes, corn, kale, salad mix lettuce, romaine lettuce, celery, beans, broccoli, and strawberries. We planted seeds for radishes, beets, carrots, and watermelon. I do not have high hopes for getting any melons before it gets too hot to grow anything, but am keeping my fingers crossed. I really hope these boxes work well as they're very expensive. I like the fact that we can take our garden with us if we move - it could happen if "they" actually build the north/south freeway - at least I pray we can move. I don't want to live with 747's flying overhead.
