Friday was Mom's 42nd (68th) birthday. She's 42 because she has to be at least one year older than me! We (Mom, Paula, Sophia, Olivia & I) went to the Field and had a wonderful dinner. The house band, Celtic Bridge, sang happy birthday to her and it was just plain fun. I'm blessed to have such a wonderful family.
Saturday was spent gardening. I purchased 10 more Grow Boxes (www.agardenpatch.com) and Sophia again helped me to mix the top soil I had purchased (before reading the directions) with peat moss and vermiculite. I hurt so badly by the end of the day it wasn't even funny, but we have seeds planted for three kinds of pumpkins, artichokes, two more types of radishes, two types of beats, pole beans, bell peppers, and onions. I left two of the boxes open to plant the Walla Walla Sweet Onions and Garlic plants when they get here - probably late next week.
I purchased the GrowBoxes instead of Earthboxes because the GrowBox holds an extra gallon of water and their customer service reviews were better. I spend all day providing superior customer service so I don't accept anything less anymore...
After gardening I went out to the Field and had a lovely time talking about guys and dogs with Leanne. For some reason I didn't go to sleep until 3AM this morning. Today I went tracking and spent the rest of the day doing homework and watching TV. My 3rd to last class, GM593, Project Cost & Schedule Monitoring & Controlling, is done Tuesday night. I still have to do my discussion board posts, Wiki and self directed learning plan as I didn't accomplish as much on the homework front today as I should have. At least my 200 point final is done...
Off to bed...
Here I am to return the blog visit! Do you think you'll ever take it up again?
ReplyDeleteOh, I think about it every once in awhile :)
